After replacing your lamp please follow these instructions to reset your lamp timer:

1) Press the Menu button and move cursor button to "Settings 2" menu.

2) Move cursor down to "Advanced 1" and press enter.

3) Now move cursor to "Lamp Hours Reset" and use the arrow buttons to set the hours to zero. You can now press the Menu button to get back to "Settings 2".

Overall this company sells high quality lamps and provides excellent customer service. I have had an issue with a failed lamp under warranty. They replaced it with no issues but I'm not sure the replacement lamp was actually the same brand and quality of the original. And since the original failed within warranty period, I'm not sure that it was a genuine Philips lamp to start with. I would suggest when ordering from here, call rather than purchase online, and alert them that you will be inspecting the lamp to ensure it is the advertised brand. They seem responsive to that.
